Our garden is both a labour of love and a work in progress. Each year we focus on a different part of the garden and do a general tidy up so it at least looks presentable.
Last year we laid a new lawn ready for Milo to play on this summer, which he enjoyed very much. I also lovingly painted the fences and back gate while heavily pregnant, which turned out to be a bit of a waste of time as the bad weather in winter pretty much destroyed the fences to the point where they cannot be repaired and need replacing.
This year we have made a sofa out of pallets, created and planted a veg patch and grown a variety of vegetables. We are incredibly happy with the crop of veggies we have had.
Next year we have a grand plan to build a garden shed out of recycled materials possibly pallets. I have been inspired thanks to Georges amazing spaces and shed of the year. We also plan on creating a vegetable patch for Milo. I have already eagerly bought him a garden kit and seeds for next year. I would also love to have a patio tree, unfortunately I have a small terraced garden which means there is not enough room for a fully grown tree but a patio tree will look just as lovely. Oh and we shall also be replacing the fences and painting them.
